Photo Tour
First stop: First look. For some reason I'd always imagined this moment to be on a staircase, and we found a perfect one between the convention center and the Shark Reef. It was lovely and surprisingly private; no one disturbed us on either the scouting trip or the day of. Not much narration follows, just pictures!
We ended up taking the long way around to the bus, which was parked out by the Shark Reef. So did everyone else in our party. Mandalay Bay needs better signage.
Headgear! Since I was wearing a hat, I encouraged the girls to have some fun with it too.
Bellagio. This was over by the porte cochere. Since we'd heard horror stories of brides having run-ins with security there, we worked very quickly to get through the formals.
Sadly, because of the tie of day, you can't really see the fountains here, which sort of spoiled the Ocean's Eleven thing we were going for. Sadness.
On to the Paris! Jer and I are major Francophiles, so pictures at the Paris were a must.

We loved these guys. So random.
Homeward!
We arrived back at the hotel precisely on time, because I be awesome. This left us some time to run around the conveniently deserted Valley of the Falls while we sent everyone else back up to the suite to relax.
You can take the boy out of the jungle, but you can't take the jungle out of the boy. It's okay to take pictures, folks, they all have their trunks on. Unlike last week, that was awkward.
Next up, the Ceremony...
